Happy New Year loves! I’m happy we’ve made it into 2014 together and I wish you and all your loved ones a happy, safe and blessed new year.
There’s a Bible verse that seems to have been haunting me lately and I can only take it as a direct message from God in response to the many questions, worries, hopes and dreams I’ve been grappling with, so I’m sharing it with you today as a meditation on what’s to come in the next twelve months.
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
I guess it’s a gentle reminder of the theme I set for this year of my life. No matter what your faith is, I hope you’re entering the year with a spirit full of hope and possibility. Don’t beat yourself up about becoming the person you “should” be. Enjoy every moment as the person you are and the rest will work itself out.
Here’s to a wonderful new year!
